Corey is back from Prague to give us recap part II of Devcon4. In addition, we invite "Shark Tank" participant Dmitri Love, who successfully pitched his company Bundil, a mobile app for investing in cryptocurrencies to the sharks - landing a $100K investment and a 50/50 business partnership with Kevin O'Leary, AKA "Mr. Wonderful". The concept behind the app works by automatically investing a users spare change into the cryptocurrency market. If you spent $9.50 somewhere, the app will automatically round up to the nearest dollar, investing $0.50 into your crypto portfolio in the app, which currently features Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin. This is definitely an entrepreneurial focused show. Let's get to it!

This week it's just Dee and Cello and they get into the weeds about Devcon4 some more, and whether or not this community is heading in the right direction. In addition, the only way something can be wrong is if it can be proven, in which case, it is no longer an opinion, but an objective issue or a fact. Or is it? Lastly, Cello argues that in stressing the force of history on an organization, he argues that the behavior of individuals is determined primarily by past events and experiences, rather than by what lies ahead. So, is crypto an evolution or a revolution as organizations grow?...All this and more!

It has been YEARS since we last spoke to these two and we thought it was time for an update from the Equibit Group. Blockchain technology holds incredible promise for the financial industry. For the first time it’s now possible to create real-time, highly robust transfer and settlement systems that current services simply cannot compete with. The securities industry is, like the banking industry, filled with centralized intermediaries that clear and settle transactions, handle shareholder communications, and other labor-intensive work. These expensive tasks can now be replaced with peer-to-peer technologies that bring the costs of performing this work down dramatically. That's right, people! Issuing companies, dealers, and investors will all benefit significantly from cutting away this part of their overhead. We dive into all this and more!

oday we talk with Toby Simpson from Fetch. Fetch is a decentralised digital representation of the world in which autonomous software agents perform useful economic work. This means that they can perform tasks, such as delivering data or providing services, and are rewarded with a digital currency for their efforts — the Fetch Token. These agents can be thought of as digital entities: life-forms that are able to make decisions on their own behalf as well as on behalf of their stakeholders (individuals, private enterprises and governments for example). Fetch's digital world is exposed to agents via its Open Economic Framework (OEF) and is underpinned by unique smart ledger technology to deliver high performance, low cost transactions. The ledger delivers useful proof-of-work that builds market intelligence and trust over time — growing the value of the network as it is used. Fetch can be neatly interfaced to existing systems with minimal effort, allowing it to take advantage of the old economy whilst building the new: plug existing data in to Fetch and watch markets spontaneously form from the bottom up.

Enjoy!
