Uncloak™ is a unique and fully scalable blockchain powered technology that enables businesses to monitor, protect themselves against and eliminate cyber threats, staying one step ahead of the hacker. Uncloak will build its own threat detection database by using advanced AI technology to crawl the public and private internet looking for the latest cyber security threats, which are converted into security signatures and added to the Uncloak threat detection system to check if the vulnerabilities exist across the subscribed client base networks and infrastructure. Where vulnerabilities exist, the end user will be notified immediately so that corrective action can be taken.

TrueBit is one of the more impressive decentralized projects, and we're really excited to have had the chance to interview Harley Swick, core developer on the project. We talk to him about TrueBit, how it works, it's significance, how it differentiates itself from other off-chain computation projects. We go over some of the many, many applications of decentralized off-chain computation projects and how they can improve world resource utilization. Amazing and really exciting stuff!
If you work in payments fraud, you get an appreciation for the weaknesses of our financial infrastructure. Really, it’s kind of a mess. As an engineer, when you see a system full of technical debt and bad design choices, there’s only one conclusion you can reach: this thing is due for a rewrite. That, in large part, is what made our guest, Haseeb Qureshi, catch the crypto bug. In June 2017, he decided the blockchain space was too interesting to sit on the sidelines. He said goodbye to Airbnb so I could pursue crypto full-time. Since then he's worked on some security research, did a lot of writing and speaking, and taught a course on cryptocurrencies at the Bradfield School of Computer Science. We have a great chat with Haseeb, amongst other things! In addition, Dee and Cello chat about the 20 Most Influential Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Experts list and pick it apart!
In this episode of Creating a Humanist Blockchain Future, Rhys interviews Taylor Pearson, the author of EndOfJobs and an editor-at-large for Ribbon Farm. They chat about a wide variety of subjects including the Blockchain Individual and how crypto allows us to no longer see like a state. Enjoy!

A nice breezy mid week for you guys as we wrap up the month of May. Ethereum, the world’s second largest cryptocurrency, endured a significant downtrend in the past week – falling nearly 25% in price. With the EOS mainnet launch only days away, questionable sell-offs of ETH suggest the competing smart contract platform may be the price crash culprit. We caht about this and more. The Crypto Dog joins us in the studio to talk humble beginnings. For those of you unfamiliar with the Dog Pound and want to hear more on what they're all about, this is a good episode to start with. Strap in, gents!
Today we talk with Ronsu Salovaara of Token Market.
Token Market is a curated database of tokens and cryptocurrencies that provides an ICO calendar of on-going and upcoming ICOs. Token Market has also advised 20+ ICOs and helps businesses that have a well defined utility token with the ICO process. Ransu came onto the show to discuss teh current state of the token economy and how ICOs could change moving forward.
The prodigious Rick Dudley talks with us about his work as a consensus subject matter expert. He lends us his experience and wisdom in consulting for the creation of Byzantine Fault Tolerant systems. We also delve into what it takes to build a completely decentralized public data storage system and why it's such a difficult problem.
Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish (known collectively as 'The Cool Kids') have been busy in the booth as a duo again. As a big fan of their music, we've known them to drop lines about crypto in their songs from time to time. After a half decade hiatus they've returned with their new album Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe and have graced us with their time for a little Q&A. Their new song titled “Ripple” is out today, and it’s the ultimate cryptocurrency anthem for partying hard. “They taking bitcoin in the strip club” is the chant for the hook. We invite them to come on the show this week to talk about a variety of topics, from the music industry, to crypto, and they even spit a freestyle for us!

We talk with Mahnush Movahedi of DFINITY to explain the fundamental innovation behind DFINITY's consensus system. She explains how threshold relay works, how groups are determined in consensus, and how cryptographic deterministic randomness drive consensus as a fast and light-weight substitute for Proof of Work. We learn about how this impacts the architecture for state and network protocol design. This episode really shows why Mahnush, a PhD Yale postdoctoral computer scientist with a focus on multiparty computation, would choose DFINITY as the project to join to innovate on consensus protocols.

Real Diversity in Blockchain - What does it takes and does it matter? This is a simple episode to cover a discussion to show female visibility and community in a field that’s known for combining the worst aspects of the finance and tech industries into a bro-y culture of shallow greed, sexism, pump-and-dump schemes, and crime. The main takeaway is that blockchain is a fundamental enabling technology which may be harnessed for any number of goals.
It's smack-dab in the middle of Consensus 2018 and we give our thoughts. Snoop Dogg and Lambos. And I thought crypto was about building open protocols and stuff. Ah well. Our man Kenn Bosak exposes a scammer on the conference floor and gets kicked out! Also, we chat about Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey reaffirming his bullish stance on Bitcoin and crypto as global payment. We tell him to put his money where his mouth is. In addition, for millions of people around the world, having what many of us consider a basic utility, i.e. good Internet and cell phone service, is unfortunately non-existent. Imagine your life without decent telecom services. You can’t talk to your friends and family. You can’t do simple things like browse the Internet, shop online, send emails or watch Netflix. And let’s not even imagine an emergency and not being able to reach out for help. Gilbert Darrell, Founder of Horizon Communications, has a global vision, and he shares it with us.
On this stupendous episode of Hashing It Out, we touch base with Hunter Prendergast and Forrest Marshall of MIMIR Blockchain Solutions about the technology behind their multi-chain blockchain service provider system. They discuss some of the economics behind developing their staking mechanism for ensuring trust in their network. We get into some of the challenges their system is tackling and it's unique approach which sets it apart from Layer 2 scaling solutions that exist.
